Tulsa residents who qualify can apply now for the $25 rebate for sales tax from the 2008 Fix Our Streets package.

You must submit an application to the City of Tulsa by April 15, 2013.

Citizens are eligible for the rebate if they were age 65 or older in 2012. If you are eligible by income for the Oklahoma Sales Tax Refund or Oklahoma Earned Income Tax Credit, you can also apply.

This is the third year for the Fix Our Streets rebate. In 2012, nearly 13,000 residents applied for and received the benefit, according to the City of Tulsa.

  • Must be the family member who contributed the greatest share of income for his or her household.
  • One rebate per household is allowed.

If you qualify by both income and age, the city recommends that you apply based on age for faster processing of the rebate check.
