Police Identify Man Found Lying In Tulsa Street In First Homicide Of 2013
TULSA, Oklahoma - Police are investigating Tulsa's first homicide of 2013.
It happened in the 1800 block of North St. Louis Friday afternoon.
Neighbors say they heard gunfire, and a man was found lying in the street. EMSA transported the victim to a local hospital where he was pronounced dead.
Police identified the victim as 31-year-old Ronnie Stanley.
According to Department of Corrections records, Stanley was previously incarcerated on drug-related charges.
Police said it's too early in the investigation for them to speculate on a motive for the shooting.
