Tulsa Couple Surprises Granddaughter With Justin Bieber Tickets

The biggest teen star in the world was in Tulsa Wednesday night.

Justin Bieber brought his tour to the BOK Center and it sold out quickly, crushing the hopes of fans, who didn't get their tickets in time.

The hype around the concert has been huge ever since it was announced last spring.

One 13-year-old girl just knew she was probably the only teen in Tulsa not getting to go, until she got a surprise Wednesday afternoon.

"Bieber Fever" took over the BOK Center.

Justin Bieber fans lined up hours before the sold-out concert.

"She said she's probably the only girl in Tulsa that's not getting the chance to go to the concert. Then we drive down by here and she says, ‘Oh, we are so close, we are probably breathing the same air,'" said Ken Hooper

Ken said his granddaughter, Katie, is obsessed with the teen star, his music and his movies.

"They came out with the new one with 15 minutes of extra footage and she had to go back and see it again, then of course we bought the DVD, posters, shirts and all kinds of stuff," he said.

Ken and his wife actually bought concert tickets and invited us along for the surprise.

Katie thought we were interviewing her granddad about his job.

The 13-year-old teared up when he handed her an envelope with three tickets inside.

"I was kinda sad, because I didn't get to go and all of my friends were posting on Facebook about it and I was like, ‘I want to go so bad,'" Katie said.

She said explaining her love for Bieber is "complicated."

"He's like my husband, to me," Katie said.

"Today, I couldn't actually do my job, because I could only concentrate on her reaction tonight," said Katie's grandmother, Rhonda.

Katie updated her friends about the good news and they were off to the concert, joining the other "Beliebers" after a surprise Katie will never forget.
