Store Video Records Man Firing Gun During Attempted Robbery In Tulsa

One of the males fired two shots while screaming at the clerk. The sound of the two gunshots and the suspects yelling at the clerk can be heard on the video.

Tulsa Police have released surveillance video from an attempted armed robbery at a convenience store early Monday.

The video, recorded at 5:40 a.m. on Monday, January 7,2013, shows two black males wearing dark-colored hooded sweatshirts entering the Kum & Go in the 10000 block of South Mingo Road.

They point a handgun at the clerk and demand cash.

One of the males fired two shots while screaming at the clerk. The sound of the two gunshots and the suspects yelling at the clerk can be heard on the video.

The two then ran out of the store. Police said the clerk was not injured.

Anyone with information about the robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 918-596-COPS.
