The rain was falling all afternoon in much of Green Country and has become an issue for drivers since the temperatures dropped below freezing. Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers are working several weather-related collisions in Tulsa, Creek and Rogers County. They ask that residents stay off the roads if at all possible.

The Tulsa Police Department is on Operation Slick Streets. Officers are only responding to injury accidents.

They expect this to continue overnight to Sunday morning, according to the 911 Center.

Most of the snow has stayed to the north of Tulsa, falling in the Bartlesville and Grove areas, but we could see some freezing drizzle overnight.

The city of Tulsa has 25-30 trucks out on the streets Saturday night. City streets are in fairly good condition, according to Kim McCloud with the City of Tulsa.

Crews have treated a few bridges and hills and will continue to patrol and monitor street conditions.
