Owasso Robbery Suspect Surrenders After Seeing Himself On TV

After seeing a surveillance photo of himself in a news story, the suspect in an Owasso convenience store robbery surrendered to Owasso Police Tuesday morning.

Owasso Police say Francisco Birruta, 19, or Tulsa, was arrested after being questioned by detectives.

According to police, Birruta robbed and assaulted a clerk at the Kum & Go on 76th Street North on January 12th.

Birruta is expected to be booked into the Tulsa County jail Tuesday afternoon.
