Three people appeared in court this week to face charges for a November 2011 fire that killed a 15-month-old boy.

Investigators said the fire at the home on West Admiral was caused by a meth lab.

Jeffrey McBride, 48, Jennifer Jennings, 27, and Jacob Bell, 36, all made it out of the home when it caught fire, but 15-month-old Ayden Jennings didn't.

McBride, who investigators called a "major meth cook," was found not guilty Friday of felony murder, first degree arson, and manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance.

McBride has a criminal record that goes back to 1993, and was in an out of prison for 10 years for various crimes, including drug possession and felony kidnapping.

Investigators said McBride admitted, after he was arrested, that he made meth at the duplex where the child was killed the day before the fire.

On Tuesday, Jennifer Jennings and Jacob Bell waived their jury trials. They both face charges of felony murder, first degree arson, and manufacturing a controlled dangerous substance, as well as one charge each of child neglect.

The pair will appear before a Tulsa County District Court judge on February 1.
