Tulsa Mayoral Candidate Bill Christiansen Opens Campaign HQ

A Tulsa man hoping to become the next mayor opened his campaign headquarters near 41st and Harvard Friday.

Republican Bill Christiansen says he'll focus on public safety and economic development, as well as improving streets and neighborhoods.

But, to accomplish anything, Christiansen says we need to come together.

"It doesn't matter if they're Democrats, Republicans, Independents, north, south, east, west—I think we need to work together for the betterment of Tulsa, and I think I'm the person, with my experience with business and with my experience on the city council, that can do that," Christiansen said.

We told you yesterday, former Mayor Kathy Taylor is throwing her name in the ring, as well.

Current Mayor Dewey Bartlett is expected to announce his re-election campaign next month..
