Kristin Chenoweth Complains Of Bad Treatment On American Airlines

Hollywood tabloid shows are reporting Oklahoma native Kristin Chenoweth has received an apology from American Airlines following what the actress claims was a bad experience with a flight attendant.

Chenoweth complained on Twitter Tuesday, January 29, 2013, after boarding of flight from Dallas to Los Angles with her dog Maddie.

Chenoweth [@KChenoweth] posted: "American Airlines: Dallas flight attnt supervisor: Ms Kidwell. Abuse not ok. #tripfromhell"

According to TMZ, Chenoweth complained that a member of the crew became "abusive" when she tried to board the flight. She claimed the attendant screamed at her and embarrassed her in front of other passengers after wrongly suggesting Chenoweth did not have the proper paperwork to bring her pet on the plane.

TMZ received a statement from American, which reads, "We have been in touch with Ms. Chenoweth to offer our apologies for the misunderstanding. We refunded the ($125) cabin pet charge as soon as we realized the mistake. We hope she will consider flying American again in the future."

Friday morning, Kristin Chenoweth [@KChenoweth] posted a statement critical of TMZ calling her dog a service dog: "Maddie is NOT a service dog. She is an emotional support animal. just fyi TMZ."
