Students Honor Influential Educators At Teacher Appreciation Day Event

News On 6 Anchor Scott Thompson spent Wednesday afternoon with some of the state's brightest young math and science students.

Scott hosted the annual Teacher Appreciation Day at the Oklahoma School of Science and Math, over in Oklahoma City.

Every year, each of the seniors invites one of the teachers from their home school district, who had the biggest influence on them to the OSSM campus.

They're treated to lunch and a tour, and they get to hear part of an essay written about them, the reason the student found them such an inspiration.

That's where Scott came in. He read all of them.
