Fans Line Up In Tulsa For Big Bassmaster Classic Finish

Fans are lining up outside the BOK Center well ahead of Sunday's weigh-in, ready to find out who gets the $500,000 prize.

It's all over but the weigh-in. The fishing portion of the Bassmaster Classic 2013 is over, and the anglers will soon be on their way to Tulsa for the big finish.

Fans lined up outside the BOK Center well ahead of Sunday's weigh-in, ready to find out who would the $500,000 prize for hauling in the big ones in the Bassmaster Classic.

Saturday ended with Cliff Pace of Petal, Mississippi, in first place - but the final results come at the big weigh-in Sunday afternoon. Ahead of Sunday, he caught 51 pounds, 9 ounces.

Hank Cherry and Brandon Palaniuk are in second place with 49 pounds, 4 ounces.

Local anglers have dropped in unofficial results with Jason Christie leading among Oklahomans in ninth place. Mike McClelland of Bella Vista, Arkansas, is hanging with the leaders in fifth place.

That's according to Basstrakk, the online tool that has kept fans in the loop during the three-day tournament.

Edwin Evers is unofficially 24th and Tommy Biffle is 25th.

The official weigh-in at the BOK Center will determine final finshers.

Sunday is also the last day for the Outdoor Expo and Bash Bass in downtown Tulsa. The 150,000-square feet trade show was on track for record breaking attendance.
