Trial Begins For Former Bartlesville Cop Charged With Assault

Jury selection began Monday for a former Bartlesville police officer charged with assault and battery for an incident that occurred at a Bartlesville hospital emergency room in 2011.

Stacy Neafus was charged after an investigation by the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation into claims that he and another former police officer assaulted an emergency detention order patient in September 2011.  

The other officer, Sonya Worthington was found guilty of assault and battery in October 2012 jury trial.
