Anyone would be shaken up after all of that, but this is the fourth time her house has been hit. Now she's moving out of the home she's lived in for more than 60 years.

"[I was] just scared to death and wondering what he was going to do next," Vivian Reeser said.

Terrifying moments unfolded as a man forced his way inside Vivian Reeser's home. It happened Monday afternoon around 4 p.m. in the 8800 block of N.E. 25th Street.

"I heard somebody at the back door, and when I pulled the curtains back, he was standing there, and it didn't take him anytime to break that door down," Reeser said.

The man demanded her money and jewelry. She went to get her purse out of her bedroom, and he followed her. That's when he hit her in the head and knocked her to the ground, breaking her collarbone.

"I told him, ‘I wished he wouldn't do this,'" Reeser said.

The thief got away with her cash and credit cards.

Ninety-four-year-old Almeda Mason lives next door and has recently seen a suspicious man in their neighborhood.

"The way she described the fellow, that was the fellow I saw walking up and down this street," Mason said.

While neighbors are now on alert, Vivian and her family are worried about her safety. She says a lot has changed in the 63 years she's lived there.

"[You] left your door unlocked. Now you lock it all up, and they still come in. Something's got to be done," Reeser said.

Now she plans to move from her Spencer home.

If anyone has information on this crime, you're asked to call the Spencer Police Department Police have a vague description of the suspect but are working on several leads in the case.
