Two Sandites Added To Sand Springs Education Foundation Hall Of Fame

Two new members were inducted into the Sand Springs Sandite Hall of Fame Thursday night.

Again this year, as a member of the Sand Springs Education Foundation, I hosted the Hall of Fame dinner, which is a major fund-raiser for the foundation.

Harlan Pinkerton and Dianne Childers Dinkel join 55 other Sandite Hall of Famers.

Over 25 years, the foundation has awarded more than $634,000 to Sand Springs Public School teachers to pay for classroom projects not part of the regular budget.
