Tulsans honored the victims of the Boston Marathon bombing Monday night by lacing up their running shoes.

Fleet Feet and the Williams Route 66 Marathon are sponsored the events which were free of charge.

They're selling commemorative T-shirts for $25, with 100 percent of the proceeds going to The One Fund, Inc., an organization established by the Boston mayor and Massachusetts governor in the wake of the fatal bombings.

The 6 p.m. events were held at both Fleet Feet locations - Kings Pointe Mall at 61st and Yale and the Blue Dome shop located at 418 East 2nd Street.

Fleet Feet says it was an opportunity to come together and be strong.
