The Tulsa Drillers used a steady offense and great pitching to grab a 6-1 win over the Northwest Arkansas Naturals at ONEOK Field Friday night.

The Drillers' pitching staff limited the Naturals to just three hits, giving up the single run on a solo home run from Yem Prades in the top of the second inning. Tyler Matzek picked up the win for the Drillers while Noel Arguelles took the loss for the Naturals.

Tulsa was paced by Jayson Langfels, who went 2-for-3 at the plate and drove in three runs for the Drillers. He also hit a solo home run in the sixth inning.

After the Travelers took a 1-0 lead in the second, Tulsa tied the score in the bottom of the frame on an RBI single from Langfels that scored Kiel Roling.

In the fourth, Tulsa tacked on two more runs before scoring a single run in the fifth, sixth and eighth innings.

The two teams play again Saturday night at 7:05 p.m.
