Construction Begins On Pikepass Lanes At Coweta Turnpike Gate

Drivers using the Pikepass lane at the Coweta Toll Plaza on the Muskogee Turnpike can expect delays due to construction until early June.

The Oklahoma Turnpike Authority has closed the northbound Pikepass lane while crews work on an upgrade.

The OTA says Pikepass customers will need to go through the cash lane and wait in line with other turnpike traffic during construction. Traffic warning signs have been posted.

The OTA says once the northbound Pikepass lane upgrade is complete, crews will switch to the southbound Pikepass lane.

All work at the Coweta Toll Plaza is scheduled to be completed by June 4, 2013.
