It's going to be a beautiful weekend - perfect for getting out on Mother's Day. But all the rain we just had could put a damper on your plans if you were heading to the Illinois River area, near Tahlequah.

You can see from SkyNews 6 the water is all the way up to the bank, and it'll be even higher Saturday. Cherokee County is under a moderate flood warning for the whole weekend.

The Scenic Rivers Commission says water levels will be up to ten feet above normal, so no float trips. Come Monday the area should be safe again.
