Teen Accuses Tulsa Man Of Sexual Assault

A Tulsa man was booked into jail Sunday, May 26, 2013 on a complaint of rape by force and fear following an incident involving a 14-year-old girl at a local motel.

Tulsa Police say the teen told officers James Wright, 47, had taken her to a motel in the 9300 block of East 11th and sexually assaulted her.

According to jail records, police said officers went to the motel and located Wright.

When questioned, Wright admitted that he had "sexual contact with the victim." He was arrested and taken to the Tulsa County jail.

Those records stated "the victim had injuries consistent with forced sex."

Wright's bond was set at $100,000 with a court appearance set for June 3, 2013.
