Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies rescued an elderly woman, whose vehicle was trapped in high water in Choctaw Saturday morning.

Oklahoma County Sheriff's deputies rescued an elderly woman, whose vehicle was trapped in high water in Choctaw Saturday morning.

According to the Sheriff's Office's Facebook page, the woman's vehicle was washed off the road at Triple X and N.E. 23rd Street in Choctaw. As deputies arrived at the scene, they found her vehicle in high water, stuck in a tree.

Deputies say the woman was barely able to keep her head above water.

Deputies and several other first responders used a boat to rescue the woman. She is expected to be Okay.

This was one of the several water rescues deputies assisted with since Friday night's severe storms, according to the Sheriff's Office.
