TULSA, Oklahoma - A motorcyclist was injured early Thursday after hitting a curb in east Tulsa.

Tulsa Police say the crash happened just before 1:30 a.m. near 21st and 145th East Avenue.

Officers say the motorcyclist was north on 145th East Avenue when the bike struck the curb, throwing him off the cycle.

EMSA took the man to a Tulsa hospital with a leg injury. Police say he is expected to survive.

 No word on if he was wearing a helmet at the time of the crash.
