Jury Selection To Begin In Tulsa Child Molestation, Rape Case

Jury selection is set to begin Tuesday in Tulsa County for Phillip Borden.

He's charged with more than a dozen counts of molestation and rape, involving his ex-girlfriend's daughters. His charges include one count each of forcible oral sodomy, lewd act with a minor, and rape by instrumentation, as well as seven counts of lewd molestation and two counts of first degree rape.

Borden fled to Mexico for a year after learning he was being investigated and was returned to Oklahoma last summer.

The girls testified they thought of Borden as a father figure and spent the night with him hundreds of times.

One girl said the abuse happened from the time she was 8, until she was 14.

Borden is being held in Tulsa County jail without bond.
