Ford, Shelby Muscle Cars, Trucks Roar Into Green Country

Not only is this Father's Day weekend, this is full-throated, big engine, muscle car and truck weekend, too.

It's the Mid America Ford and Shelby Nationals. This year Ford and Shelby have teamed up for something a little different, a high-performance muscle truck: a 2013 Shelby Raptor.

Rick Wells went to the Hallett Motor Racing Circuit to go for a ride.

All those cool cars and trucks are headed over to our neck of the woods for a car show in the Brady Arts District. And because of that, many of the streets around Guthrie Green and just west of there will be closed Thursday evening.

Up to three thousand people are expected to attend, so give yourself plenty of time to find your way around and get a parking spot.
