McIntosh County officials say wireless and land line phones in the county are out of order due to an AT&T system failure.

As a result, 911 calls are not going through. Anyone with a working phone, needing emergency services in McIntosh County should call 918-473-4555.

County officials are unsure how long the repairs will take.

AT&T phones are also down in Pittsburg and Latimer counties.

An AT&T statement was released Thursday:

"Due to a third-party cable cut, some AT&T customers in Latimer and McIntosh counties may be experiencing issues with wireline and wireless services. Restoring service is a top priority and technicians are on site working to repair the cable as quickly as possible. We apologize for this inconvenience."
