Oklahoma State fans had to hold their collective breath after last season awaiting Marcus Smart's decision on whether to return to OSU or enter the NBA Draft.

There will be no such drama after the 2013-14 season, according to Adrian Wojnarowski of Yahoo! Sports.

Yahoo! is reporting that Smart has already informed Oklahoma State officials of his decision to enter the 2014 draft after the completion of his sophomore season in Stillwater, barring injury.

Many considered his decision to return to the Cowboys a surprise given that he was in the discussion for the No. 1 overall pick and was rumored to be the favorite of the Orlando Magic, who had the No. 2 spot. Instead he spurned the money to return and make another run at the NCAA Tournament for Travis Ford's Cowboys.

Smart was the Big 12 Player of the Year and Freshman of the Year after averaging 15.4 points, 5.8 rebounds and 4.2 assists. He was just the third player in Big 12 history to win both awards, joining Kansas State's Michael Beasley and Texas' Kevin Durant.

Smart is still considered by most draft analysts to be a top-5 prospect in next year's draft and he is currently in Las Vegas competing in Team USA's minicamp. He was one of only two collegians invited to participate.
