Tulsa Teen Arrested For December 2012 Homicide

Tulsa Police arrested a 19-year-old in connection with a December 24, 2012 homicide at the Town Square Apartments.

Jail records show Shelvon Williams was arrested Thursday and booked into the Tulsa County jail on a complaint of first-degree murder.

In December, police found Shawn Banks, 20, dead in a breezeway of the complex in the 1600 block of East Virgin.  A police report states Williams and Banks had gotten into an argument just before the shooting.

Jail records show Williams is also being held in jail on a charge of shooting with intent to kill stemming from a June 2012 incident.
