Haskell Woman Accused Of Selling Cattle Stolen From Okmulgee Ranch
DURANT, Oklahoma -
A Haskell woman arrested on a complaint of knowingly concealing stolen property is a suspect in an Oklahoma cattle theft investigation.
Investigators with the Texas and Southwestern Cattle Raisers Association say Christen Allen, 31, sold stolen cattle at the Durant livestock auction.
They identified 10 head of cattle Allen sold as being from the Langford Hereford Ranch in Okmulgee County.
We told you earlier this month how 19 head of cattle, worth more than $100,000, were stolen from the ranch over two weeks.
The investigation into the stolen cattle is ongoing with Allen as a focus, according to Special Ranger Bart Perrier.
Allen was arraigned and released Wednesday on a $5,000 bond. Investigators say additional charges and arrests are expected in the coming weeks.
Anyone with information on the thefts or the possible location of the remaining cattle are urged to call 918-275-4257.
