Oklahoma's Aaryn Ellenberg was named the Big 12 Player of the Week by a media panel following her performances in games the week of Nov. 11-17, the conference announced Monday.

It was Ellenberg's seventh career weekly honor and third player of the week award.

Ellenberg averaged 21.5 points and 8.0 rebounds in Oklahoma's Preseason WNIT games against then-No. 25 Gonzaga and No. 5 Louisville.

The senior guard scored a game-high 21 points, including the go-ahead basket and clinching free throws, in the 82-78 win over Gonzaga. The game featured 21 lead changes and 14 ties. Ellenberg also totaled a game-high five assists and two steals.

She added a team-high 22 points and grabbed a career-best 12 rebounds for her second career double-double in OU's overtime loss in the championship game.

The 5-7 guard set the tournament record for 3-pointers made with 15 in four games.

Ellenberg and the No. 10 Sooners return to the court Wednesday, Nov. 20, for a 7 p.m. tip-off against UT Arlington.
