On avoiding any more confrontations after last week's game:

"That's what both teams strive to play like every night; a leave everything on the floor type of mentality. It's not about one individual player against our guy, it's about us against them. Any time we play them it's gonna be competitive. We're not concerned with (Matt) Barnes, we're concerned with the Clippers."

On the excellent defensive effort:

"I thought that was probably as well as we can execute a game plan and execute on both ends of the floor, on offense and defense in the second half. 17 assists and five turnovers in the second half and we made them miss a lot of shots."

"We played about as well as we can play defensively against one of the best teams. We did a good job tonight. Blake (Griffin) got hot for a stretch, but we like guys taking long 2's. When we force teams to take long 2's we feel like that's to our advantage."

"When we have the proper energy we can really lock in on our defensive plan and don't allow transition points or easy points, we are going to do a better job of holding things down."

Kevin Durant

On the team's effort:

I like the way we came out and started the game defensively. It helped our offense; the guys came out and played hard.

On playing in front of Jay-Z & Beyonce:

"That was crazy. I don't even know how to describe that right there. That's unbelievable for them to come to Oklahoma City and come watch us play. It was cool to have them there. I knew they were coming a few days ago and I was all excited for them to come watch us play, and hopefully we gave ‘em a good show."

On Loud City becoming Half-Court Heaven

"Wow. That's two in a row now, so, we were just talking about I think we might go broke after these guys make every half-court shot. Congratulations to the guys that made it and it's really fun to see those guys hit that shot."

On defensive performance:

"We got out to a great start. We had a meeting with the starting five and we had to just get our defensive mindset back. We had to get back to what we do."

On young players giving good minutes:

We're just trying to get better every day. Each day we're trying to grow individually, we're trying to teach out young guys and I think we're getting better. You can see Steven, Jeremy, Reggie, we're just trying to groom them guys just to get better throughout the season so when the time comes we can try and do what we can do.

On Doc Rivers' impact on his game and life:

"He is like a father figure to me in the NBA. Doc mentored me to who I am today. One thing he always told me was ‘It's okay to be who you are, you don't have to be nothin' extra just be who you are' and that's what I do. I go out there and do my job."

Russell Westbrook

"We grinded, we did a great job of keeping them off the boards and rebounding the basketball. It shows execution and it shows growth."

Thabo Sefolosha

"Tonight was a fun game. There was a good energy in the building. The team played extremely well from start to finish. It was a game that we had under control and that's something positive for us."

Doc Rivers

On the Thunder:

"Oklahoma has been to the Finals, we're trying to get there. I'm sure they view us as a team that's trying to take it and we view them as a team that we have to try and beat."

On last week's incident:

(Joking around) "The perfect scenario would have been to get Serge thrown out and no one get thrown out for us, that woulda been perfect. But that didn't happen of course. We tend to lose our focus on things that have nothing to do with the game. We just need to keep playing. Because the game isn't gonna stop for you, even when you're mad. It's not gonna let you cool down. The game will never stop, whether you're mad, happy whatever; the game's gonna continue to play and you've got to continue to play. We're getting better at it for sure. Intensity's good. I don't mind when guys don't like each other."

On Steven Adams:

"He's gonna be good. I just like him, he's gonna be a good player. He has great hands, can shoot the ball pretty well. He's big, he has size, what is he? 20? That was a hell of a draft pick."
