A woman from Dustin, Oklahoma, who crashed her car into a tree near Weleetka, has died at the hospital Friday night.
Oklahoma Highway Patrol troopers responded to the crash at 12:38 p.m. Friday on State Highway 84, about four miles east of Weleetka.
A 2011 Lincoln Town Car driven by 81-year-old Corrine McLaud was westbound on State Highway 84, when it ran off the roadway to the right and struck a tree.
McLaud was transported to St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa in critical condition, suffering from head injuries. She was later pronounced dead at about 6 p.m. Friday.
McLaud was not wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, according to the OHP.
Troopers listed McLaud's condition at the time of the crash as "apparently normal" in the OHP collision report. The cause of the collision was listed as "inattention-other."
