A City of Tulsa spokesperson says water has been restored to downtown businesses affected by a water main break Friday.

It could still be some time before the intersection of 4th Street and Cheyenne Avenue is re-opened after two pipes burst, causing water to rush into businesses like the Casa Laredo in the Adams Building.

As of 2:30 p.m. Saturday, the line is repaired. Contractors are repairing the street and expect repairs to be complete by the end of next week.

The street closure meant the Holiday Parade of Lights route had to be altered.
