Salvation Army Joy Center volunteers are scrambling to find replacement gifts for 500 adopted Angels which have not been returned.

Officials say these "forgotten Angels" gifts are needed by 5 p.m. Tuesday so the gifts can be handed out during the Salvation Army's distribution Thursday.

Officials ask Tulsa area residents to bring a toy or toys to their Joy Center at 924 South Hudson.

Suggested toys include walkie talkies, footballs, remote control toys, arts and craft kits, electronic diaries, and simple digital cameras.
