McCurtain County Man Arrested For Woman's Murder

A McCurtain County man is in custody after a woman's body was discovered in southeastern Oklahoma.

A McCurtain County man is in custody after a woman's body was discovered in southeastern Oklahoma, according to a news release from the Oklahoma State Bureau of Investigation.

The McCurtain County Sheriff's Office got a tip Monday that 38-year-old Amy Endsley had been killed and her body dumped in the country, the OSBI states. A McCurtain County deputy found the murder victim northeast of Wright City.

Endsley died of gunshot wounds.

OSBI was called in to assist the Sheriff's Office, and agents interviewed 52-year-old Eddie Virgin in Texarkana, Arkansas, the release states. Virgin was jailed on a first degree murder warrant in Arkansas.

He is awaiting extradition to Oklahoma.
