Man Who Killed Bartlesville Couple In '83 Denied Parole
The Oklahoma Pardon and Parole Board on Wednesday voted unanimously to deny parole to the man who murdered a Bartlesville couple three decades ago.
David Sherrick was sentenced to life in prison for 1983 murder of Russell and Neva Holden.
Sherrick stabbed them with an ice pick and kitchen knife, and cut off Russell Holden's finger to get his ring.
Sherrick has been up for parole before, but this was the first time a member of the Holden family was able to speak to the parole board.
Sherrick will be eligible for parole again in three years.
