With tipoff barely an hour away in Philadelphia, the Thunder received some welcomed news: Kevin Durant will play against the 76ers.

Durant was held out of Friday's 101-83 victory against Boston with lingering shoulder pain from a minor injury suffered in a collision with Tim Duncan on Wednesday against San Antonio.

KD was said to be a game-time decision for Saturday's contest and coaches apparently liked what they saw from the MVP candidate in the team's afternoon shootaround.

Durant is the NBA's leading scorer at 31 points per game and is also averaging 7.7 rebounds and 5.1 assists per outing.

The Thunder is riding a six-game winning streak into tonight's showdown against the struggling Sixers and sits atop the Western Conference standings with a 34-10 record.

The game is scheduled to tip at 6:30 p.m.
