TULSA, Oklahoma - A mother and her four children were forced out of their Tulsa home after a fire in the home's garage late Monday.

The Tulsa Fire Department got the call in the home at Reading and Quaker at about 11:30 p.m.

The woman told firefighters she was doing laundry when she heard a pop. When she looked outside, she saw the home's garage on fire.

Tulsa firefighters were able to put the fire out quickly.

The fire department said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
