Tulsa Police Say Most Wanted Is Gangster Disciple Gang Member

A Tulsa man who is reported to be a Gangster Disciple gang member is Tulsa Police Department's Most Wanted of the week.

Wesley Alvin Calhoun, also known as "Hoo Ride," is wanted on several felonies including possession of a firearm by a convicted felony, probation violation and domestic assault and battery.

Court records say Calhoun was involved in a gun battle outside Torchy's Briar Patch bar at 1111 South 124th East Avenue in August of 2012.

Video surveillance from the bar showed Calhoun and a man named Corey Reese both had handguns and fired them at each other, officers say. Reese was wounded multiple times, according to an affidavit of probable cause.

Calhoun told police he was in fear of his life.

The 31-year-old man has been convicted of burglary and drug possession in the past.

Calhoun is described as a 31-year-old black male who is 6'2" and 170 pounds. He has black hair and brown eyes. He will be held on a $140,000 bond.
