Oklahoma Professor Announces Plans To Run For Senate

According to a news release, Dr. Kevin Crow, an Associate Professor of History at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma announced he is running for Tom Coburn's open Senate seat.

According to a news release, Dr. Kevin Crow, an Associate Professor of History at the University of Science and Arts of Oklahoma announced he is running for Tom Coburn's open Senate seat.

The release says Crow teaches a multiple courses at USAO, ranging from histories of the Roman Republic and Ancient Greece to the Political Geography of the Modern World. And in 2008 and 2010 he won the Regents Award for Superior Teaching.

According to the release, Crow's plans to use his education in history provides a unique look into how to preserve the health of the American Republic, and intends to be a voice for working Oklahoma families.

A Facebook page has been created for the campaign and Crow urges people to voice concerns and issues they feel are important.
