A Domino's Pizza delivery driver was robbed at gunpoint on Saturday night near the Fontana Shopping Center, police say.

According to TPD Capt. Steve Odom, the driver was able to get away unscathed, only losing his pizza and the bag it was in.

Odom said the man was trying to deliver to an apartment near 51st and Memorial, but no one answered the door at the address he had been given.

The driver walked around the building to find the customer who called in the order, when a man  appeared and pulled out a pistol, Odom said.

The driver dropped the pizza and fled.

No money was lost. The suspect is described as a black male who is about 6-feet tall and weighs between 200 and 210 pounds.

He was wearing a black hoodie, Odom said.
