A 3.1 magnitude earthquake rumbled the Choctaw area late Sunday morning.
According to the U.S. Geological Survey, the quake was recorded around 11:05 a.m. three miles southeast of Choctaw or 15 miles east of Oklahoma City, at a depth of just over three miles.

No major injuries or damage have been reported.
According to the USGS, earthquakes with magnitudes of 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans.
