Tulsa's Food For Kids Receive $10,000 Donation

On Monday, the Homebuilder's Association presented the Food Bank a check for $9,000. Reasor's donated another thousand, bringing the grand total to a $10,000 donation to Food for Kids.

Everything came up roses for the Food for Kids program over the weekend. The Homebuilder's Association teamed up with News on 6 and Reasor's at the Tulsa Home and Garden Show selling flowers to benefit the Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma.

Paul Kane with the Homebuilders Association, said, "It was great to see so many attendees walking around the show with those flowers in their hands, and every one of those flowers you knew was helping the Food Bank."

"Travis really helped out on Thursday night when he did the weather he had that mini rose and everybody was looking for Travis' mini rose, so we sold out of those," said Ken Tirpak of Reasor's
