Investigator Says Arsonist To Blame For North Tulsa House Fire

The state Fire Marshal's Office says a fire which destroyed a Tulsa couple's home early Thursday was arson.

The Tulsa Fire Department responded to the fire on 58th Street North between Osage and Elwood at around 3 a.m.

A state Fire Marshal Office investigator says someone ransacked the home, poured an ignitable liquid and then lit it.

The couple, John and Rosie Reed, were not home at the time.

The investigator said he plans to talk with neighbors in hopes of tracking down the arsonist.
