Wagoner County Man Arrested For Lewd Molestation, Drug Possession
WAGONER COUNTY, Oklahoma - A Wagoner County man has been jailed on several complaints including the lewd molestation of a 13-year-old relative. Michael Charles Wyrick was taken into custody Friday by the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office.
Major Gary Handley said investigators went to Wyrick's home in the Whitehorn Cove area after being alerted by the minor relative of a molestation incident that took place in February. While at Wyrick's home, deputies say they found prescription medication that was not prescribed to him.
Then when they got the 42-year-old man to jail, they discovered marijuana on his person, according to a news release.
He was booked on complaints of lewd molestation, possession of a controlled drug, possession of marijuana substance and bringing contraband into a jail, Handley said.
