Firefighters in Washington County say someone deliberately set three rural grass fires between Ramona and Vera Thursday afternoon.

The first fire call came in at about 4:30 p.m. about three miles southeast of Ramona.

By 6:30 p.m. firefighters said all three fires were under control thanks to help from nine other fire departments.

Osage SkyNews 6 flew over one the fires near Vera Thursday afternoon.

Owens asks anyone with information about the arsonist to call the Washington County Sheriff's Office at 918-337-288 or his fire department at 918-371-5974.
