Tulsa Police say a wanted felon targeted his latest alleged victim over Facebook. David Wayne McCollough was arrested Friday night after a K-9 officer found him hiding in some trees near 50 North Trenton Avenue, according to police.

Officers tracked McCollough down after he reportedly kicked in the back door of a home and took a shotgun, television, cash and a diesel Dodge. McCollough, who has a long history of criminal arrests, was treated at a Tulsa hospital for a dog bite before being taken to jail.

In an arrest report, police say McCollough found his victim through Facebook. The homeowner reportedly said he was going to have surgery and would be off Facebook for a while.

Police believe McCollough had knowledge of that post through a mutual friend and believed the home would be unoccupied.

Despite the post, the victim was sleeping in a back room and called police when McCollough broke in, the arrest report states. News On 6 was there when police took him into custody.

He had outstanding warrants for possession of marijuana, possession of drug paraphernalia, unauthorized use of a vehicle and false pretense under $500.

McCollough, also known as Bonehead, is being held on a total bond of $104,403.50 for numerous complaints and outstanding court costs.
