Two small earthquakes were recorded near Stillwater, Sunday night.
A 3.2 magnitude quake struck around 9:30 p.m., two miles to the southeast of Stillwater, or about 50 miles north northeast of the OKC metro, at a depth of just under three miles.
No damage or injuries have been reported with this earthquake.
At 11:38 p.m., a 2.9 magnitude earthquake struck one mile east, southeast of Perry, and 15 miles northwest of Stillwater. It was about three miles deep.
According to the United States Geological Survey (USGS), earthquakes with magnitudes ranging from 2.5 to 3.0 are generally the smallest ones felt by humans. Damage is more likely from quakes at a 4.0 magnitude and higher.
