The fire that began Sunday west of Terlton is still burning after it jumped the north fire line. Officials say 20 fire departments are on the scene.

Homeowners in the path of the flames are prepared to leave if the flames spread.

Randy Comstock and his family are on standby as firefighters are continuing to battle a wildfire near his home.

Crews evacuated the Comstock family Sunday night when the wildfire spread.

The large grass fire has been burning for a day now.

Comstock has his truck ready to go if he gets the order to evacuate.

"When we came back here last night, and when we got here the sparks were going over the house and we sprayed water on it, and the fire department showed up and sprayed water and saved it that time around," Comstock said.

The cause of the fire is still unknown.

The Oklahoma Department of Emergency Management says wildfires were first reported Sunday near Stillwater and near Terlton in Pawnee County.

OEM says the Pawnee County fire burned 400 to 600 acres west of Keystone Lake. Emergency management officials in Stillwater also reported two wildfires near their city on Sunday.
