Tulsa Community College's Board of Regents are set to meet Tuesday to decide on the fourth president for TCC.

Last month, the three finalists to replace retiring TCC president Thomas McKeon visited the school's campuses. The three, Dr. Leigh Goodson, Dr. Richard Shrubb and Dr. Ann Valentine participated in public forums and meet with the regents.

Thomas McKeon will retire effective July 1, 2014 having served TCC for 33 years in various administrative roles and for the last decade as the college's president.

The school says the three candidates mark the first time Tulsa Community College will select a president from outside the college.

Dr. Richard Shrubb is president of the Minnesota West Community and Technical College where he recently announced his retirement. Dr. Leigh Goodson is currently vice president for Research and Institutional Advancement at the Oklahoma State University's Center for Health Sciences in Tulsa. And Dr. Ann Valentine is chancellor at Ivy Tech-Wabash Valley in Indiana where she has served in that role for three years.

According to the agenda, the regents will first meet in executive session for discussion and then convene in public to vote. The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. at TCC's Southeast campus at 10300 East 81st Street.

Friday, May 9, 2014, Tulsa Community College will hold its graduation ceremony at Oral Roberts University's Mabee Center. Over 2,000 students are set to graduate with degrees or certificates.

Oklahoma Lt. Governor Todd Lamb is the commencement speaker.
