The road to defending a national championship has been laid out for the Oklahoma Sooners, and once again, OU won't have to leave the state to do it.

The Sooners received the No. 7 overall seed and will host a regional in Norman this weekend, beginning Friday night. As the No. 7 seed, OU would host a Super Regional in Norman as well, should it advance.

Oklahoma will open the tournament Friday night against Bryant, with Hofstra and Texas A&M joining those two teams in the regional.

If the Sooners advance, they could face No. 10 seed Tennessee, which the Sooners defeated in the championship series last season.

The Tulsa Golden Hurricane also made the field and will travel to Waco, Texas for regional action. The Baylor Bears are the host for the regional and are the No. 13 overall seed. Northwestern State and Houston are the other two teams in the regional.

If Tulsa were to advance, it would likely face No. 4 seed Georgia on the road.
