Flash Flood Watch Issued For Eastern Oklahoma

The National Weather Service has issued a flash flood watch for portions of eastern Oklahoma.

The watch covers Adair, Choctaw, Haskell, Latimer, Le Flore, Pittsburg, Pushmataha and Sequoyah counties.

The NWS says rainfall will become widespread by Monday afternoon into Tuesday.

Two to three inches of rain will be possible across portions of southeast Oklahoma and northwest Arkansas, with some places expected to see more than four inches.

WARN Team meteorologist Alan Crone says once rains moves out of Oklahoma, cooler temperatures will prevail for the next couple of days.
